Hello everyone! I’m back again with my third blog post, where I will talk about something I find very interesting — the current capabilities of Artificial Intelligence, or AI. I hope by the time you finish reading, you’ll understand just how powerful and helpful AI has become in today’s world.
AI, which stands for Artificial Intelligence, was first introduced in 1955. It refers to machines that can think and act like humans. This means they can learn, make decisions, and solve problems without being told what to do every time (Russell & Norvig, 2021). These days, many businesses and organisations are using AI to come up with new ideas and do their work better (Duan et al., 2019). Some people even believe that AI might one day be able to do almost everything that humans can do!
What I Found Out:
1. Finance
AI is now being used in the world of money and banking. It helps in things like predicting stock prices, detecting fraud, managing investments, and helping people make better financial choices. Banks also use AI to give quick services like checking balances or approving loans (Bărbulescu & Sova, 2021).
2. Machine Learning
Machine learning is a part of AI that helps machines learn from data. For example, it can help apps like YouTube or TikTok recommend videos based on what you like. It can also help computers read handwriting or understand speech (Goodfellow et al., 2016).

3. Object Identification
This is when AI helps machines see and recognise objects around them. This is called computer vision. For example, your phone uses it to unlock with your face. It’s also used in driverless cars and even in farms to check if crops are healthy (Krizhevsky et al., 2012).
4. Healthcare
AI is now helping doctors in hospitals. It can look at scans like X-rays to find diseases, help plan treatments, and even assist in surgeries. It also helps with things like booking appointments and keeping medical records organised (Topol, 2019).
5. Acting Like Humans
AI can now do things that show human-like intelligence, such as learning, understanding, making decisions, and even being creative. For example, AI can write stories, chat with people like a real human, or even draw pictures (Floridi & Chiriatti, 2020). That’s why some people say AI is starting to “think” like us.

That’s all for now! I hope this helped you understand some of the amazing things AI can do. I’m excited to see what more I will discover as I continue with my research.
Hello Joseph, you have such an interesting blog. This has really taught me more about AI and some of its impact on humans. Thankyou as you continue to teach as more about this.
Hello Joseph to go through your blog is so interesting .Continue doing a lot of research about AI and we will learn together more and have some ideas about this.
Hi Joseph , reading your blog is very interesting and educational . It is good to how what AI is assisting people in their day to day lives and also prevent inappropriate things from reaching to the society.
Hi Joseph, I hope that you are fine and doing great. Your blog is really amazing and i have learn more about current capabilities about AI. I wish you all the best as you go on with your research project
By reading your blog Joseph I have already identified your curiosity on AI. I have really enjoyed reading your blog. Continue working hard aiming for the best. Thankyou.
Hi Joseph!. Great choice exploring AI current capabilities. It is both exciting and highly relevant keep it up.
