Blog Post #7 Reflection

a. What challenges did you overcome throughout this inquiry project? How did you go about
overcoming these challenges?

I overcame the challenge of finding good reliable sites to do my research properly. I went about this by making sure it had a .org or .gov in the website name and if it didn’t I would fact check the facts and the websits itself to make sure the information I was using was correct information. Another challenge I overcame was reading information and trying to understand some of the terms properly as some terms were complex and hard to understand with the text. I overcame this challenge by reading over and over again with a synonym of the word to undestand what it was referring to.

b. How did this inquiry change the way you think?

This inquiry project changed the way I think as I can now better understand victims who are or have been going throught child abuse and neglect. I also know effectively know how to help them and recognize what they are or have been through. I can also see the signs of these horrible conditions and be more understanding and sympathetic of them.

c. How did this investigation impact your future decisions?

This investigation will impact my future decisions because I now know what child negect or abuse is and how it affect these kids and victims which helps me to recognize them without mentioning it and helping them the best way I can. It also helps me sympathize with them and be more understand about the way they think, act, and are.

d. What impact will this investigation have on others locally and/or globally?

This investigation will help other in our community see how much of an impact child neglect/abuse has on kids early on and later in life. This will help others understand how to get these people and how to help them with their health whether it is physical or mentally. This will better help the victims to get through the difficult time whether it is to get them out of that toxic household or to heal from that abuse or neglect they had been through.
