Hi! My name is Hailey Ferguson, I’m thirteen years old and I’m a ninth grade student at Charles Best Secondary! I’m from Port Moody, British Columbia Canada. School is a big part of my life; my favourite subject has always been science because I grew up in a very scientific household as my mom was a vet, so I find it fascinating.
I am passionate about volleyball and film school. I’ve been doing club volleyball for one year and I’m going on my second year; I’m very excited. This is also my first year of film school. I started my first semester of film school in September and I have class once a week for three hours. I find it very fun and it’s a great opportunity to meet new people. My best attribute is that I love to help others if they need help.
My hero is Jane Goodall I aspire to like her because she made a massive impact on the research of chimpanzees and advocated for them. When I grow up I hope to contribute to the world like she did. What the word community means to me is that a community means not just a group of people: but a group of people that support each other through the good and bad.
I’m planning on doing an inquiry project so I can learn about a certain topic that will hopefully help people.
