About me

My name is Hailey Seward I am 14 years old and I am in grade 9 in Charles Best Secondary school. I live in Coquitlam, British Colombia. My favorite subject is math because once you know the material and how to do the questions its just reputation and I find it fun. I like math because it has less memorizing then most subjects and more problem solving.

I am passionate about soccer. I have been playing club soccer since I was 5 years old, with Metro Ford. I love soccer it is my favorite sport. I have two younger sisters who also play soccer so our weeks are packed with practice. This summer I broke my ankle and it affected how I play but I’ve been getting better. My strongest trait is that I never give up. No matter how hard life gets on the soccer field, in school or in life, I keep pushing forward. When I run into problems like breaking my ankle I don’t let it hold me back and I come back stronger. I know that practice doesn’t make perfect it makes progress so, I will keep trying and training to improve my skills.

Another thing that I am passionate about is baking. I like baking because I like having a recipe to follow and instructions. I’ve been baking for a while now and I find it very enjoyable.

If I had the choice to be the worst person on the best team or the best person on the worst team, I would want to be the worst person on the best team. I would want to be the worst person because I could get the chance to improve and learn from the others on my team. Especially on a soccer team I would much prefer to be the worst player on the team because I would be on a team with people who challenge me and push me to level up.

The category of butterfly effect that I am most interested in is an action project because I would get to connect more with my community in person.

Thank you for reading Hailey

Your determination in soccer, especially coming back after your injury shows a lot of resilience.
