Blog Post 1: To what extend does daily water intake influence skin hydration and acne occurrence in students

My inquiry question is: To what extend does daily water intake influence skin hydration and acne occurrence in students. This question stemmed from my reflection on the countless skincare claims I encountered online throughout my elementary and middle school years.

In my opinion, the second most thing I see people carry around these days, besides the Lululemon wallet/key chain, is the Stanley cup. They’re perceived as cute to have around, especially when they match your outfit. But the main reason for its creation is for drinking out of. With their ability to hold 14-64 oz of water, it not only acts as an accessory, but its existence gives you the urge to drink more water. Drinking more water is a topic discussed in many platforms as a way to clear up your acne and create a brighter complexion. But is that really the case? Can water solely improve our skin and how? This is why my question is of interest to me. Not only am I going to learn more about skin health, which is a field I hope to pursue professionally, I get to uncover the truth if clear skin can be achieved just by drinking ounces of water everyday or through a combination of healthy habits.
