For my semester one inquiry project, my question is: How do the differences between the Canadian and U.S. education systems affect students’ learning outcomes and opportunities? I chose this question because I was interested to figure out how and why these two countries approach education in such different ways, despite their many similarities.
Education is the most important aspect of success and has a significant impact on your future. A good education can lead you to many opportunities to achieve your goals. My research on the education systems of these two countries will help me to determine which one best supports their students’ needs to gain success and receive opportunities, as well as understanding how what you learn can lead you to your success.
Another reason I’m interested in this topic is that education systems have an impact on more than just academics; they also have an impact on how you act, communicate, and see the world. For example, a student’s learning environment and how the teacher teaches them will influence how they use their confidence and creativity in the rest of their lives. These specific learning techniques will change the students’ expectations about who they want to be as individuals while they grow up.
