Hello everyone my name is James; I am from Nanyuki partly in Laikipia county. I study at Thome boys high school. I`m a member of butterfly effect project and I glad to continue with butterfly effect research project. Through the project I have encountered many challenges, the butterfly effect was new to me and I did not have any experience, I had a problem in organizing my research by giving examples and providing links because some sites gave inaccurate results.
Through the research I was able to do my research well by the help of scholar google. My research was all about inflation and it was amazing because it catered general increase in prices of goods and services.
The project also took me some time to understand by providing topic of study on which my research project would rely and doing what was supposed. I also had fear because I did not used to talk to a crowd.
Fortunately, my research project become better after having a deeper understanding. Through the project I was able to interact with students from different parts with different research project, we also helped one another by sharing ideas and thoughts.
Through the project it has impacted me with courage because I had problem in stage fright, that was my biggest worry and concern.
The butterfly effect project also disappointed me in round research three, my research yielded no results because the information I got was too much detailed and complex that I could not understand. I struggled a lot but later I was able to capture and using less detailed information on my research project.
Through the butterfly effect research project, I was able to learn many things through the students we interacted with in the website. I was able to learn about urbanization, solar flares and nuclear energy and I did know about them. The students had amazing topics of study relating them with things that happen in our society. Through the project we were able to exchange ideas and learn from one another.
Lastly, the project catered thing happening in our lives and steps that would be taken to stop their impact to people.

I can really understand the obstacules sometimes we need to pass, for me was really hard to adapt writing a lot for my blogs and use credible sources that sometimes are hard to find. Hi James, my name is Jennah. I’m so glad that you’re a part of the butterfly effect, and I hope you enjoy it. I really like reading your post and found that I struggle with similar things as you. Sometimes when doing research, it takes time to find credible sources when there are so many that aren’t, and sometimes my information is inaccurate. Other times it’s ok. I just try to look at many sources and see until I find similar information in each one. And I also have stage fright. I hate public speaking, but it’s ok; I believe that it’ll get better over time. I hope you enjoy your research and overcome the challenges you face. Have a great year.
Hi James, you have a very nice post. If butterfly effect have build your confident, I am sure you can now be able to stand Infront of the audience and present very nice. Through you post I have noticed that you went through some challenges but I am happy you able to over come them. Never give in life since those who give up are people who do not know how close they are to their success.
