1. Address the following questions:
Answer the following questions:
a. What challenges did you overcome throughout this narrative project? How did you overcome them?
I overcome three different challenges:
A first challenge I overcame during my narrative project was organizing my ideas into a clear paragraph. At first, it wasn’t easy, but after using a new organizational method, I managed to put them into a paragraph using the right words that matched the context of the paragraph. A second challenge I overcame was the number of paragraphs I included in my blogs. I find it very difficult to summarize my ideas in such short paragraphs which can completely change the meaning of my story. After a few posts, I finally understood that summarizing a paragraph isn’t always the best idea. It’s better to have more text to better contextualize the story. A third and final challenge I overcame was writing blog post# 3. I came up with good ideas for my blog posts, but something unexpected happened: I couldn’t find credible sources. I would say this was the most difficult challenge, since it wasn’t easy to write. Finally, I was able to identify reliable sources and make my blog posts more credible.

b. How did writing and researching this story change the way you think?

Researching and writing this story made me reflect on how different my life situation was from others. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to move to a new country to explore and have new experiences. Many other children don’t have the opportunity to leave their country until adulthood. It also helped me improve my writing skills. I understood how the words I use in my blog posts can completely change the meaning of a story.

c. What impact will this story have on others locally and/or globally?

I think my story could have a positive impact in both locally and globally by showing that everyone can adapt to a new sociocultural environment, building new stories and experiences in their lives. It can also make people think deep about helping people in need.

Thank you so much for reading my blogs. πŸ™‚
