Hello and welcome to my seventh and final blog post, in this post I will answer some questions.
What challenges did you overcome throughout this inquiry project? How did you go about overcoming these challenges

During this project, I had to overcome many challenges, the main one being understanding and organizing all of my information. In this project, I had to learn about adaptation, extinction and environmental changes, and each one was difficult to understand. Another problem I faced was keeping track of all my information. During this project, I did a lot of research, so as well as needing to understand the concepts I also needed to learn how to keep track of this information and organize it. Many of the websites I used were repetitive, and all had the same information, so I had to reread them to make sure I didn’t repeat anything. Another problem I had was that sometimes I didn’t have enough time to finish my blog posts and had to spend lots of time finishing them.
How did this inquiry change the way I think?

This inquiry project changed how I think about the environment by showing me how quickly plants and animals can be affected by things we do. I used to think adaptation happened slowly and naturally, but now I understand that fast changes, especially ones made by humans, can make it impossible for some species to survive. Learning about examples like polar bears losing ice made me realize how serious the situation is.
How did this investigation impact your future decisions?

This project made me more aware of the choices I make in my daily life. I now understand that I need to be more careful about wasting food, recycling, and choosing the right transportation that creates less pollution. I also want to think more about what I buy, like clothing that produces a lot of waste. Understanding how human actions make the environment worse makes me want to make decisions that reduce impact instead of adding to the problem.
What impact will this investigation have on others locally and/or globally?

This project can impact others by helping them understand how environmental changes affect plants, animals, ecosystems, and people right now and in the future. Sharing what I learned could encourage others to make changes in their own lives; they don’t have to be big changes, they can be small ones, like reducing waste or recycling. Even small actions can add up when many people do them, and learning about these issues can inspire more people to help reduce pollution and help slow down climate change.
Thank you for reading.
