Inquiry Project: Child development
How do daily things affect child development?
My category for this semester is on child development. I’m interested in working with children when I am older and hope to learn more about their development. I usually do an after-school assisting program for skating and I want to learn and understand how I can help these kids to enjoy the sport or maybe in the future, help other kids.
My plan is to research on how daily things can affect child development. Firstly, how sports impact their development because most kids start a sport or multiple at young ages. Secondly, the influence of technology. Technology has advanced a lot in the past 20 years, and it is interesting how different this generation could be with the technologies. Last of all, how school acts on how a child develops. I hope the things I learn in this project can be applied for volunteering, jobs, other works with children in the future.
