My name is Miriam Wangari. I come from a big family of 6 kids. I am 13 years old. I’m in grade 6 and I go to St Christopher School in Nanyuki. I love playing football, dancing, listening to music, and swimming even though I had trouble learning it. I live in Nanyuki, Lakipia county in Kenya. I am a Pa-Moja scholarship student. I have just completed my sixth grade and did a national examination in the new learning system (Competence based Curriculum)
I am really happy to be proceeding to the next chapter of my life. My favorite subject is Home Science and Technology. I come from a tribe in Kenya called the Kikuyu tribe. It is the largest tribe in East Africa. My passion is singing. My Favorite song is ‘Highs and Lows’. I like it because it encourages me when I’m at my lowest moments. My dream when I finish school is to become a doctor dealing in bones. I would like to help others when they get sick. My best friend’s name is Eva, she is in the same class as me. I like her because she usually helps me in my studies.
I also like watching movies and sometimes reading story books. My favorite storybook is ‘Moses and the Kidnappers’. I like it because it is rich in language and is very interesting to read. My role model is Mrs. Lilian. I like her because she is so good to me (she is my teacher) and teaches me new things that I did not know. I hope I will be able to be looked upon by younger people when I grow up.
THAT IS ALL ABOUT ME.
