Hi everyone! I had two meeting for the club, Cookies for a cause, we have talked about ideas and the bake sale coming up! I have also realized that I have not talked about what happened at the bake sale, so this blog post will be about those two topics.
Those two meetings were about brainstorming more ideas about what people can bring and some ideas were peppermint brownies, reindeer decorated cupcakes, Christmas tree decorated cupcakes, holiday themed cake pops, peppermint and chocolate cake pops and cookies, etc…. Most were just the decorated ones that were picked by people. We also talked about decorations and who would bring what. We had a hard time trying to find a way to promote the bake sale until we found some ideas that are Christmas themed and easy to make.
At the last bake sale, we ran into a problem that we ran out of change, so decided to solve it by only accepting change for a little while and going to the cafeteria to exchange money for some change. We also ran into another problem that we sold the cake pops that we held for someone, so we decided to give them back their money with 3 free cookies as an apology.
