Corruption is a dishonest or immoral behaviors or activities. This is mostly brought with greediness or need for material gain. Also, there is misuse of power where leader can decide anything on their own that does not favor the societies.
Corruption is often seen as a moral problem due to its implications for ethical behavior and societal trusts. It undermines democratic institutions and can lead to disruption in integrity and accountability. Some of us argue that corruption can be justified under many view it as a structural issue that affects organizations, societies, families and individuals globally.
IMPACTS OF CORRUPTION IN THE SOCIETY.
Corruption very many consequences that extend beyond individual acts. It disturbs governance, affects public trust, and can lead to inequality to individuals. Moreover, corruption often brings poverty by transfer resources away from essential services like education, health services[ good sanitation.
It is also considered as a moral problem because it afects:
1.Ethical issues.
2. It also brings inequality and injustice in the society and moral decadence.
ETHICAL IMPLICATIONS OF CORRUPTION.
Corruption is basically referred to as ethical considerations because it involves actions that is often illegal and violates societal norms and fairness and integrity. This includes bribery, bribery and fraud. It also creates unfairness to certain individuals and groups.
BRIBERY
Bribery involves offering, giving, receiving something of value to influence the actions of an individual in a position of power. It is a common form of corruption that undermines making right decisions and can lead to unequal treatment and favoritism within both public and private sectors.

EMBEZZLEMENT
Embezzlement is the misappropriation or theft of funds or resources entrusted to an individual’s care, often by someone in a position of authority. This type of corruption leads to financial losses for organizations and institutions, disrupting their operations and undermining their ability to serve the public effectively.
NEPOTISM
Nepotism refers to the practice of favoring relatives or friends when making decisions about employment, promotions, or other benefits. This type of corruption distorts merit-based processes and can result in inefficiencies and within organizations, as positions are awarded based on personal connections rather than qualifications.
