Why and how do people experience déjà vu?
I’ve always been fascinated by déjà vu because it’s such a strange feeling. It’s like I’ve lived a moment before, even though I know I haven’t. For example You walk into a friend’s new house for the first time, and you get a weird feeling like you’ve been in that exact room before, and maybe eve flashbacks. Even though you know it’s your first time there, but it still feels familiar. That’s called déjà vu and I want to explore that more. It happens to almost everyone, but no one really knows why. I want to understand what’s going on in the brain and why it can feel so real. When does it seem like almost like a glitch in reality.

Exploring this question could help me learn more about memory, perception, and how our minds work in different ways.

Hey Elizabeth i also experience the situation and i think it is a good question .For me i think that Déjà vu is a fleeting sensation of having already lived a totally identical situation at some point in the past — though, in reality, you haven’t. Translated from French, déjà vu means “already seen.”
