After after choosing my inquiry, I went forward and divided my inquiry into 3:
1. What would happen if a medicine that regenerates body cells were discovered today?
2. How would a medicine change human health, aging, and lifespan over time?
3. How would such a discovery influence human evolution and the future of humanity?
I came up with a breakdown bearing in mind how this research will help me and my community. The following are some of the reasons I chose to do this research:
1. Increased population and pressure on resources
If people live longer due to cell regeneration, the population would grow rapidly. This could lead to shortages of important resources such as food, water, and housing. Governments might be forced to introduce strict policies to control population growth and manage limited resources.
2. Widening gap between the rich and the poor
At the beginning, the medicine would likely be expensive and not available to everyone. Wealthy individuals and developed countries would benefit more, while poorer communities might be left behind. This could increase inequality and create social tensions between different groups.
3. Changes in lifestyle and life choices
Longer and healthier lives would change how people plan their future. Individuals might delay marriage, having children, or choosing careers. Education systems and workplaces would also need to adjust, as people may study and work for many more years than they do today.
I went to Google Scholar and other reliable sources online and i found the following sources that will help with this research.
