Hello, my name is Ihan and thank you for taking the time to read my blog post. For my second project, I have decided to do another inquiry project, this time with the question “How does failure shape who we become?”.

This question interests me because failure is something everyone experiences, but people react to it in very different ways. As an athlete, I have personally experienced situations where I felt like I failed. Whether it was losing a game, not performing as well as I expected, or making mistakes under pressure. Those moments can be frustrating and discouraging, but they also tend to stay with me the most. Because of these experiences, I’ve started to wonder whether failure is actually more important than success when it comes to growth. Some failures have pushed me to work harder, reflect on my performances, and improve my skills, while others have affected my confidence and made me question my abilities. This makes me interested in understanding how failure can both challenge and shape a person’s mindset. By exploring this question, I hope to better understand how failure influences who we become over time. I also want to learn how people can turn setbacks into opportunities for growth, especially in high-pressure situations like sports, where failure can feel very personal. I think this will help me develop a healthier and more productive way of responding to failure in both athletics and everyday life.

Thank you for reading my post.
