After completing the activity, I learned my top 3 most important values are courage, recognition and personal growth. My top 3 least important values turned out to be tradition, belonging and equality.
I agree with the results, and I think the statements are good descriptions of the values. I do not think there are any values missing. To me, the value courage means to take action even when you don’t feel like it. It reminds me of how I, like many others get the urge to wait until we finally feel confident when actually, you gain confidence by doing the thing that makes you uncomfortable. By doing something out of your comfort zone everyday, it eventually becomes part of your zone.
Being recognized for doing something for others or being consistent with work has always lifted my spirits in the toughest days. For example, recently, I was turned down from a job I had applied for a couple days ago. It made me doubt my own skills and experiences, but the moment I received an email from a teacher, complimenting me for my quick replies to her emails and requests, it made me realize that maybe I was rejected because of the other many reasons not about my skills such as maybe the schedule I submitted was not available.

Personal growth is very VERY IMPORTANT IN MY LIFE. I have a hunger for wanted to grow and learn different skills that may come in handy someday. This is why for next year’s courses, I specifically chose classes that I would never have the opportunity to take when I graduate from high school, such as standards of trade, economics, and one for living alone (budgeting).

The value that aligned with me the most from United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development goals is “responsible consumption and production.” A passion of mine is to garden, so I understand that while I consume many things in this world, I also have the power to produce new forms of life.
An idea of a project I have been thinking of is creating an app that uses AI to identify local invasive plant species and tell you the steps on how to eradicate them..
I can look into this project by emailing the adult, who oversees the DSL (District Sustainable Leaders) about a brief description of this project and getting his opinion if this could be successful. I can also start by researching local invasive species of plants.
