Hi everyone! I’m so thrilled to be doing my second research project. Last semester I researched how we can help the elephants, this time I took a totally different path and I chose to study what 50 years from now will look like with the invention of Ai. I can’t wait to start doing my research because Ai is a topic that fascinates me. I’m going to begin this project by creating a plan.

My blog post 3 will be my first round of research, during this post I will be discussing how the job market will change and what jobs are at risk. This will be a key part to my research because when Ai is brought up in conversation, people often express their concern with how it will effect their job. Which is a valid concern, but I also think that we can build new jobs around Ai and it could be a fantastic thing for the market. My dad says that when he was a kid he didn’t know his job existed, apart of my dads’ job was social media marketing and as a child their was no access to a computer. My point is that at first peoples’ jobs felt threatened when the computer was invented, but it ended up being revolutionary for the job market.
My blog post 4 will be my second round of research. I will be talking about how it will effect students. Ai has been notoriously used as a cheating method on assignments and tests. I will use statistics to help our understanding of how many students use Ai, I will talk about the Ai checking websites and how correct they are and finally, and mostly how Ai will effect students education. Many have expressed concerns that when students start a job they won’t know how to do their job because they went through school using Ai. Overall, I think this is a valid concern and it should be addressed.

Blog post 5 will be my final blog post and I will talk about what we can do to help regulate Ai and stop it from “taking over” in fifty years. Ai has become apart of many peoples day-to day lives and some have expressed concerns that we will lose our essential skills because we over-rely on it. I believe that this is important because with something as powerful as the intelligence we must learn how to use it properly so societies’ future is progressive.
Overall, I believe this will help not only me but the community because many are worried for our future because we hardly know anything about Ai and our future plans with Ai. It has started to create an anxiety for our future and I believe that the more we know about it, the better we are able to use it. Below I have attached 5 sources I will be using. Feel free to click on them if you want to learn more or have questions.
