Below I will be providing three sub-questions which when I answer will allow me to come up with a final answer that fully answers what the main question is asking. My first sub-question will be ” what does the government having control over it’s own economy actually mean?” This question is important because it allows us to understand what it means for a government to exercise control over its own economy.
My second sub-question will be “What would be the resulting benefits of an economy that is controlled by the government.” And my final sub-question being “What would be the resulting consequences of an economy that is controlled by the government?” I chose to split the benefits and consequences into two different blog posts as this allows me to focus on one topic per blog post instead of having to cover more then one aspect of the main question in every blog post, allowing me to delve into more details and add some nuance onto my topic of discussion.
I’ve chosen five sources from which I will be gathering my information from.
1.) Investopedia: Investopedia is one of the most reputable sites on the world wide web with all of their articles being separately reviewed and fact checked leading to very accurate and succinct articles which will definitely help me with my research
2.)Britannica: Britannica is an incredibly trust worth and reliable source as it consists of over 100 editors and has numerous contributions from experts. All the information on the website is fact checked and confirmed which makes it a very reliable source.
3.)Wikipedia: Wikipedia is a good website as they have numerous editors dedicated towards improving the website and having their articles be truthful. I’ll mostly be using it for definitions and to get a baseline understanding of a subject as its quite known that Wikipedia can be biased at times.
4.)Statistics Canada: Canada’s national statistical agency: I’ll be using this website to get statistical data to provide evidence for my points. This is trustworthy as it is funded and run by the government which means only reliable data is used to get the statistics on the website.
5.)About Us | InvestingAnswers: This website is useful as it provides a summary of topics which allows me to delve deep into topics when writing my blog posts. All the people that write the articles are financial experts and have a finance degree.
The research will allow me to better understand the economic policies the government has in place and the policies they plan on implementing which will allow me to better decide my political views as I would have more information. For the community, this information would make aware of the effects of the current government whether good or bad and if changes made to it would be beneficial at all.
