1.) Where are you with your action?
Currently, Dara, Rima and I have been discussing which park would be more suitable to schedule our days at, and which times would work with everybody’s schedule. We have been discussing what the best strategies could be, and also learning about other experts’ experiences when it comes to this branch.

2.) What are some successes that you have had? Provide specific examples.
A big success is that we have more control over how we can schedule out our times for this project. For example, last semester relied on the availability of the elementary school teachers, the class, and also our own personal availability. It was also quite difficult because we had to fit in during the school hours obviously, but this can also be done outside of school time, which helps out a lot. Another success is that surprisingly our schedules seem to match more than we thought which is good.
3.) What are some challenges that you have faced?
A big difficulty is that with grade 11, the availability of our schedules is unpredictable. One week, one of us might have a very important test, then the other two might have other important class work the week the other one is free. We are working to overcome these challenges by maybe having some sessions during the weekends, or instead of fewer longer sessions, we could opt to have multiple shorter sessions making it easier to work it around our schedule. In general though, I wouldn’t really consider this a big challenge, because it’s so easy to overcome
4.) What are you doing next and why?
Next, we are planning on setting up specific times and dates we can all show up. In addition, we probably need to do further research to how to get around some of the parks, the hours the park operates, etc. We just need to ensure there aren’t specific guidelines preventing us from collecting the garbage and facilitating the area a bit. I decided to use the TriCity Parks website as a reference to get more information related to these specific guidelines.
