As of this week my group and I talked about the days we are all free to do the garbage picking up. What we have for sure is that our main location we are heading to is Lafarge because it is quite big and would have more area to cover. Like mentioned, we will have teachers like heather helping us out on our journey, like in case we forget our supplies or just need some advice.
One success we had was finding a time where all of us could help out since we all have different school schedules, although was also a challenge because we all have very distinct schedules, however, was a learning curve. We learned to keep an open mind but to also have patients. Another success was choosing the locations as we are blessed enough to have lots of parks nearby. With that being said, we could expect lots of garbage and be ready to deal with dangerous or hazardous items. In which we must be prepared and know what to do and how to dispose of it properly (1).
Lasty, it’s just a matter of getting down to action and finalizing the date, as we would like to do as many as possible. However, looking at the short time we may continue this even after this project is due.
