Blog Post #7- Reflection

What challenges did you overcome throughout this inquiry project? How did you go about
overcoming these challenges?

During this inquiry project, one challenge I overcame was finding trustworthy information because there was a lot of different opinions about social media and teens. I solved this by using reliable sources and comparing information from several articles so I could tell what was factual and what was just opinion.

How did this inquiry change the way you think?

This inquiry changed the way I think because I realized social media is not completely good or bad. It can help teens connect with others, but it can also cause stress, comparison, and cyberbullying if it is used too much. Now I think more carefully about how online habits can affect mental health and everyday life.

How did this investigation impact your future decisions?

This investigation will impact my future decisions because I will be more aware of how much time I spend on social media and how it affects my mood and focus. It made me realize that I should be more careful about what I post, what I look at, and how I respond to others online. I also think I would be more likely to take breaks from social media when needed.

What impact will this investigation have on others locally and/or globally?

This investigation could help others locally and globally by encouraging teens to think about their social media use in a healthier way. It can also help families, schools, and communities understand that social media affects mental health and self esteem. On a bigger scale, this kind of research can remind people everywhere to use social media more responsibly and kindly.
