Part 1: Values Activity Reflection
In evaluating my values based on the provided list, the three that stand out as most important to me are Compassion (M), Justice (N), and Community (W). I place a high priority on extending genuine kindness and care to others, particularly vulnerable or isolated groups such as seniors. Alongside compassion, my value for justice guides me to advocate for fairness, dignity, and equity for individuals across all stages of life, aligning closely with my long-term interest in law. Finally, prioritizing community reflects my commitment to hands-on, face-to-face collaboration and building meaningful intergenerational relationships right where I live.
On the other hand, the three values from the list that are least important to me are Power (S), Recognition (G), and Risk (Q). While these concepts hold value in certain settings, they are not primary drivers for me. I am far less motivated by exerting authority over others or seeking public praise and accolades for my efforts. Additionally, I prefer focused, purposeful service and stable relationships over taking unnecessary risks.
Overall, I strongly agree with these results because they reflect my genuine motivation to make a positive, practical impact in my local area. To me, these values mean that true fulfillment comes from empathetic connection and active service. Whether it involves building supportive relationships through local volunteer work or working toward legal advocacy in the future, my core goal is to support and uplift those around me.

Part 2: United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
When reviewing the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals, the one that aligns most closely with my personal values is Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being. This goal focuses on ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all people at all ages. It directly connects to my value of compassion by addressing the physical, social, and emotional health of seniors in local facilities.
My biggest passion centers around a combination of Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being and Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities (or Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities). A thriving community is one where older generations are integrated, supported, and valued. Focusing on senior well-being helps reduce social isolation and ensures that older adults maintain dignity, connection, and a high quality of life within our local community.
To actively support this goal, a specific action I plan to take is volunteering regularly at a local senior living facility. By dedicating time each week to visit residents, lead or assist with engaging activities, and offer companionship, I can help combat loneliness, foster meaningful intergenerational connections, and support overall mental well-being in my community.
