Research Round #1 – What is AI?
In my first round of research, I will be looking into what AI really is. Where it began, and how it became what we know it as today. I will be researching its benefits and downsides, and taking a look at some studies that are available online. My goal with this round of research is to educate others on the history of AI and give a clearer definition of it.
Research Round #2 – What are the effects AI has had on us and our planet?
In my second round of research, I will be researching the effects AI has had on us and the planet. I have some prior knowledge on its negative effects on our planet, so I am interested to see what else I can learn about it. My goal with this round is to further what I already know and use the information I find to educate those around me.
Research Round #3 – Why is AI so appealing?
My final round of research will be centred around what makes AI so appealing. As someone who rarely uses AI, I am interested in knowing the psychology behind what makes it so irresistible. I will also look into why more people feel inclined and even pressured to “hop on the trend.” My goal with this round of research is to find out once and for all why it feels like everyone is using it, and what we can do to avoid being pulled into things like this in the future.

This question has implications on me and my community because I want to learn more about what the future holds for us regarding AI, and what I can do to ensure it is positive. As a teenage girl in 2026 it is becoming more and more difficult to dodge this new technology, with parents, social media, and even friends encouraging me to use it. So with that being said, I’m excited to start a new project and I hope you will enjoy learning about my findings.
