What are your 3 most important values?

My three most important values are believing that every individual should have the same rights and opportunities, because everyone should have the same occasions in life to thrive in their lifetime. Furthermore, I feel that people who stand up for their beliefs should be respected and valued, the reason being they have the courage and bravery to stand up and tell others what they believe in; possibly creating a change. In addition, I appreciate people who guide and inspire others, since they care enough to aid others, giving them their wisdom and positively motivating them.

What are your 3 least important values?

My least important values are believing that it is important to take care of others and help them meet their needs. I understand this for older people, but for adolescence, I think they should figure it out for themselves. Moreover, I don’t feel like it is important for people to feel connected to and liked by others. Honestly, who cares if you aren’t liked by others, you only need to like yourself. Similarly, I don’t believe that it is important for people to voluntarily do what is expected of them. If something is expected of a person it should be mandatory, also if it were voluntary they should do what they expect of themselves; not others.

Do you agree with the results? What do these values mean to you?

Which one aligns with your values most?

Out of the seventeen values of the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals, number thirteen, climate change, aligns with my values the most. Also, I generally believe that to be a good human being we must first understand that it is crucial for us to take care of the land we are on. We can’t survive without the Earth, but the Earth can survive without us. It is important to know that we are destroying the Earth inside and out by climate change, it causes droughts, rising temperatures, flooding and much more. Killing the animals and our kind.

Give one specific action you would like to apply to address this goal.

One specific action I would do to address this goal is helping out in schools. In more detail, helping out in schools as a tutor can provide support and extra help for students who can’t afford the extra help. Many different kids have various situations, they may be able to afford extra help, but many may not. By volunteering, helping out in these schools can try to make for at least one school their education equal.
