Blog Post 1 

My three most important values are Equality, Compassion and Belonging.My three least important values are Power,Family, and Helping,I agree with the three most important values results but not so much as the three least important values.It think that the statements is a good description of the values.My three most important values mean that i think people should have Empathy for others who are less unfortunate and to make them feel included.

Every single time that i have felt empathy or tried to include someone it always ended up into strengthening my existing relationships with others or create new ones.Having empathy for others has always helped me see things from a different perspective or even change the way i think about a person.

These are some ways i could use my values in the future: For equality, if i ever see that someone is treated differently because of looking different or having different interest i would always try to treat them as equal as i would treat anybody else.I think the even if someone acts different or feels different about something you should always treat them the same any anybody else.For me, compassion is feeling for others, trying to put yourself into their shoes and trying to see from a different perspective.In the future i think i can use compassion/empathy by trying to put myself into a persons shoes or trying to see from a different perspective before i judge them for being mean, or moody.I think that sometimes i can forget about thinking about being empathetic for example: if i meet a very rude/mean person they might only be mean because they are facing different struggles that are not visible at the moment.In the future if a new person comes to class or cheer i can use belonging by helping them feel included and trying to help them make some new friends so they don’t feel alone or excluded.

Goal16 which is”Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels” is the goal i think aligns the most with my three values: Equality, Compassion, and Belonging.My passion is “Goal 11. Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable” I think that everyone should have a sustainable and warm home and that people should always feel safe in their comunities. One action i could do to achieve goal 16 is that i can volunteer or support local causes like cleaning up our environment or raising money for an organisation.
