My story outille in point form:
Beginning:
- A girl named Zoya—she’s 35 and used to be an all-star cheerleader; she was famous and a 5x world champ, and she globed over 6 times. But unfortunately, at a competition, she tore her ACL, continued her routine, and had to quit the sport she loved because of it.
- Since her injury, Zoya had stayed fit and had done a couple cheerleading-related things, flying occasionally, tumbling levels 1-4, etc., but nothing like she used to, though.
- Every day, she goes to work (she’s a sports therapist), comes home, eats, and sleeps. That’s how it goes.
- Before her injury, she had a fiancé, a career she wanted more than anything, and the perfect life.
- During one of her normal days, she was swarmed with paparazzi because it was 10 years ago today that she was injured.
- She was then asked by an agent that called her when she returned home if she was able to come on their show to talk about her past career. To tell stories about what an average season was like.
- When the producer came on the phone and was hesitant when calling cheer a sport. When she was younger, people would always say cheer wasn’t a sport, that it’s just a hobby, but she would never debate or argue; she said that everyone was entitled to their own opinions. But now, she thinks otherwise. She wanted to go on that podcast and justify her sport.
Middle:
- In the middle of the story, she was introduced onto the show; she began with a summary of herself and how she was introduced into cheerleading.
- After she talked about her life before, how it was perfect.
- Next, her injury
- After her post-injury
- Finally, the sport she loved so greatly.
- She talked about the commitment of the sport, the long hours, the sacrifices, the performance, the season, and the feeling of victory.
- She had flashbacks when doing this interview as well
End:

- After the show, Zoya was determined to become the woman she once was, a dedicated athlete and amazing cheerleader. She had continued to do social media over the years and had a big following, but instead of cheer (tumbling intensively and stunting), she would post about sports therapy, specific to cheerleaders.
2-year jump.
- After months and months of training, she becomes the woman she once was. She was placed on the same team and continued to fly, overtime become centre flyer, etc… She got a boyfriend (she was engaged), and they adopted a dog together. They continued to shine, and over time the art of cheerleading was accepted as a real sport.
- The interview she did a few years ago went viral and inspired many cheerleaders and people all around the world to push themselves to their limits.

13-year jump.
- When Zoya could no longer cheer again, she wrote a book about her journey up until the present moment.
THE END!

I really like this story idea. I think it’s going to be a very inspiring story; and I’m excited to read it. I’m wondering what point of view the story will be written in?
Thanks for the feedback! The point of View I’m leaning more towards is Third person omniscient narration.
Very strong job on this post, I really thought you did a great job on adding lots of detail. One thing that caught my eye and added lots of flow to your post was the way you broke up the writing into sections while adding relevant photos, great work!
Hi Jennah, this is a great story plot and outline! I love the concept of this story! For the thirteen year jump, you could add more stuff that has happened to make it more interesting. Overall, really interesting idea and story!
