COMPARISON OF TYPES OF GOVERNMENT

CHINA VS CANADA.

TYPE OF GVERNMENT IN CHINA.

China is unique country because the system of the government they use is totally different from other countries. The current government system of China is a unitary communist state led by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). When we say unitary communist state we mean, a system of government where the central authority holds the primary power and decision -making responsibility. The CCP operates a hierarchical bureaucracy . A hierarchical bureaucracy is a structured system of administration characterized by a clear chain of command where authority flows from top to bottom.

Types of Political Systems

Political systems are often classified along a spectrum from democracy to totalitarianism, with authoritarian regimes and hybrid systems in between. Totalitarianism is a form of government that attempts to assert total control over the lives of its citizens. Democracy: Power resides with the people, exercised directly or through elected representatives. Democracies emphasize civil liberties, political pluralism, and rule of law. Examples include parliamentary democracies like the United Kingdom and India, where citizens elect representatives to legislate and oversee the executive learning mole

Authoritarianism: Centralized power limits political pluralism and civil liberties. Authority may be concentrated in a single leader, a party, or the military. Hybrid regimes may combine democratic elections with authoritarian practices.

Totalitarianism: Extreme form of authoritarianism where the state controls both public and private life, suppressing opposition and using propaganda to maintain absolute power.

Monarchy: Rule by a king, queen, or emperor, which can be absolute or constitutional. Constitutional monarchies often blend democratic institutions with ceremonial royal authority 

TYPE OF GOVERNMENT IN CANADA

Canada used monarchical type of government,  meaning the monarch is the official head of state but exercises authority largely through constitutional and ceremonial mechanisms rather than direct governance . Canada’s monarchy began with the French colonial period when King Francis I of France claimed possession of what is now Canada in 1534. There are three branches of government.

1. Legislative -: Responsible for making laws. It is composed of two houses: the Senate and the House of Representatives 
2. Executive Branch: Responsible for enforcing laws. It is headed by the President, who also serves as the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces

SOMALI

Somali is among the countries that use federal type of government but some ares such as somaliland operate under their own separate an administrations. This government was established on August 1, 2012, with the adoption of a Provisional Constitution. Following this transition, the United States formally recognized the new federal government in early 2013, marking a new era of state-building for the nation. The Current Government of Somalia. Today the Federal head quarters are locatered in Mugadishu which is the current capital city of Somali.The system was establised to promote unity in the country since there before Somali was experiencing political instability.

The Federal Government of Somalia operates as a federal parliamentary republic. This system is designed to share authority across different levels of government rather than keeping all power in one central office. The current structure was created to move the country away from the earlier transitional systems that had been in place since 2004.

Today, the Federal Government is headquartered in Mogadishu and acts as the official representative of Somalia on the global stage. This federal system was adopted to help bring stability to the country by involving various regions in the national governing process. The transition to this more permanent framework was intended to provide a stable foundation for the country’s future laws and leadership.The Current Government of Somalia

When ideas are shared its better than operating when you are alone.

How the Somali Government is Structured

The Somali government is divided into three separate branches: the executive, the legislative, and the judiciary. The executive branch uses a dual leadership system where power is split between two top officials. The President serves as the head of state, and the Prime Minister serves as the head of government. The Prime Minister leads the Council of Ministers, which handles the daily operations and executive decisions of the government. The legislative branch is known as the Federal Parliament and follows a bicameral structure, which means it consists of two separate houses. The two houses includes:

1.The House of the People (the lower house)

2.The Senate (the upper house)

KENYA:

Kenya System of Government

Kenya has democracy system of government . The branch is divided into main branches that is : Executive which is headed by the president. The other one is legislation which makes and amends the law. This branch is headed by the speaker. It plays an important role and we should elect members to represent as well. Nowadays the leaders elected misuse the power because what they do they pass laws that increases their salaries .   The President is both the Head of State and Government, assisted by the Deputy President, Cabinet Secretaries, and other appointed officials. The new constitution was established in August 2010.

Structure of Government

Kenya’s government is divided into three independent branches:

• Executive: Headed by the President, assisted by the Deputy President and Cabinet Secretaries. The executive is responsible for policy formulation, law implementation, and administration of national programs. 
• Legislature: Bicameral Parliament consisting of the National Assembly and the Senate. The National Assembly has 349 members representing constituencies and special interest groups, while the Senate has 67 members representing counties and additional nominated members. The legislature debates and enacts laws, oversees government actions, and represents citizens’ interests. 
• Judiciary: Independent branch led by the Chief Justice, with the Supreme Court interpreting the Constitution and ensuring the rule of law. Judicial decisions are final and binding.
