Hello everyone it’s great to be back doing these blog posts again for those who don’t know me my name is Salma Abdi Hadi and I’m 15 years old. I live in Coquitlam BC; I attend Dr. Charles best secondary school. My favorite subject is probably French; I love French class because it’s the first step of accomplishing one of my biggest dreams of all time which is to become a polyglot. I would say that my strongest trait/attribute is compassion. I always am empathetic, but I value compassion more because it’s the act of actually helping not just feeling others pain, that’s why I love donating to good causes volunteering and making people smile even if it’s just for a moment. This is the reason why the project I will be doing this semester is an action project, I love helping people and being an active, helpful and productive member of the community. The reason I joined Butterfly effect is because I heard that we get to do fundraisers to help a student pay off their tuition in Kenya and I hope that it can connect me to an organization where I can volunteer and make a bigger difference than I could if I volunteered with the city.

To relax I usually read a book or watch some YouTube and on Friday nights I watch movies with my family. To me the perfect best friend is someone who pushes you toward good not someone who just doesn’t negativity effect your life but someone who constantly enriches it, someone who you don’t have to gossip to for them to stick around but someone who you can just sit beside peacefully enjoying the nature. Someone who is loyal and kind but keeps you in check and remembers the little things. If I could magically solve one problem in the world I would free Palestine because the genocide that is being committed is absolutely disgusting. I don’t have one particularly hero, but I really look up to the Palestinian children who are kids just like me, but who’ve lost everything imaginable to man those kids are remarkable because they never lose hope or faith in God. My name is Salma that was my all about me blog post and now you know a little bit more about me.
