Hi! My name is Lina and for my second project I am going to be doing an inquiry with the question ‘Does society influence fashion or is it the other way around?’. I decided on this topic because fashion has always been one of my interests and hobbies.
I enjoy styling cute outfits and admiring others. I believe it is something that brings us together.
But, I have always wondered, is there something deeper behind the clothes we wear? Are they a reflection of our personalities or societal fashion trends?
In this inquiry I plan to answer those question and more by researching fashion trends in different time periods and what was happening during these times. Doing this inquiry will not only help me answer my question but will teach me about history and fashion.
