Hi! My name is Sophia, I’m 17 years old, and I attend Dr. Charles Best Secondary in Coquitlam, BC. My favourite subject is English because I enjoy reading, writing, and expressing my thoughts and ideas. In my free time, I love reading books, especially fantasy and romance, and I sometimes get so caught up in a story that I end up reading late into the night. I also enjoy drawing, painting, baking, sewing, and doing creative activities like nail art. I’m a family-oriented person, so I love spending time with my family and cousins whenever I can. I also enjoy helping others, especially children, which is one of the reasons I’m interested in pursuing a career in healthcare in the future. I would describe myself as a creative, caring, and patient person who values meaningful relationships and enjoys learning new things.

Family is a very important part of my life. I come from a family of five, and I enjoy spending time with my parents, brothers, and cousins. My family has taught me the importance of respect, kindness, and supporting one another. I believe that being there for the people you care about is one of the most important things in life. One of my passions is healthcare. Ever since I was younger, I have been interested in working in the medical field because I want to help people and make a difference in their lives. In the future, I hope to pursue a career in healthcare where I can learn new things, support others, and do something meaningful.I would describe myself as caring and patient. I enjoy helping others, especially children, and I have had opportunities to do this through volunteering and tutoring. I try to be understanding and approachable because I want people to feel comfortable around me. I believe that even small acts of kindness can have a big impact on someone’s day.Something that might surprise people about me is how creative I am. In my free time, I enjoy drawing, painting, baking, and trying different creative activities. I like having hobbies that allow me to express myself and take a break from schoolwork.

To me, community means being part of a group of people who support one another and make each other feel welcome. I believe a strong community is built on kindness, respect, and helping others when they need it. I try to contribute to my community by volunteering, tutoring, and helping children learn. These experiences have taught me that even small actions can make a difference in someone’s life. In the future, I hope to continue helping others through a career in healthcare.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, drawing, painting, baking, sewing, and doing nail art. Reading is one of my favourite ways to relax because I can get lost in a different world and connect with the characters in a story. I also love being creative and trying new things, especially when I can make something of my own. When I want to unwind, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching shows, or simply taking a break from schoolwork. I think having time for the things I enjoy is important because it helps me feel refreshed and balanced.
One thing I value most in a friendship is honesty and loyalty. To me, a good friend is someone who listens without judging, supports you when things get difficult, and celebrates your achievements. I appreciate people who make me feel comfortable being myself and with whom I can laugh about anything. I believe the best friendships are built on trust, effort, and understanding, and I try to give the same support to the people I care about.
