About me

Hi!! my name is Sarang, I am 16 years old. I am in gr. 11 at Dr. Charles Best Secondary School. My favorite subject in school is Chemistry and Biology. My passion is soccer. I play for SUSC BCSPL 09 girls, the girls I play with are the sweetest, most kind and encouraging people I know. They are so supportive and understanding, I couldn’t imagine my life without them. I spend a lot of my time outside of school with them, playing sports or just chilling together.

I believe that my strongest attribute is my ambition and determination. The reason I put both is because one cannot work without the other. Ambition is the desire to do something specific, a goal that has been set, while as determination is the drive that will achieve that goal. I am a high achiever, I always am striving to be better, to improve. I don’t settle, I keep working towards my goal, no matter how many obstacles present themselves. This is a good trait to have, because in the future, we will not have the comfort of getting another chance, being an adult is ruthless and life will not slow down just because. You need to power through and work to get what you want.

I would rather be the worst person on a good team over being the best person on the worst team. This is because when you are the worst, the only direction you can go is up. There is motivation to improve, and to reach the level that everyone else is at. The skill and competitiveness of others will push me to work even harder, to become just as good, while as being the best on the worst team, there is no challenge. Without challenge, there is no way to improve yourself, and keep growing as a person and as a player. When moving on from the team, the skills that you are left with and work ethic is much better if you are the worst person on the best team.

The category I am interested and doing this semester is story.

  1. Hi Sarang, how are you? I also play football and I play as Stricker. Interesting if you love sciences since it is rare for a girl to love sciences.

    1. Hi Monica, I am doing good, thank you for asking, how are you? My mother is a chemistry major, so ever since a young age, she has made an effort to educate me on such topics, whether that be experiment kits, books, shows, etc. I have always found the sciences interesting, especially in an environment where I’m exposed to the creative portions of science instead of just reading from a textbook and taking notes. It’s so amazing that you also play soccer, I love meeting people where we share a passion. I’ve been playing since I was 3 years old, how old were you when you first started playing?
