Blog post #1: Inquiry question

Hello everyone, my name is Jennah, and today I’ll be presenting my inquiry question for blog post #1 that I’ll be continuing to pursue and research over the course of this semester. I’ll be stating my question, why I picked it, why it interests me, and finally a little more about it.

While thinking about a question I could answer/choose, I thought a lot about if I wanted it to be open-ended or how it could be answered, e.g., whether it could be answered with a simple yes or no or if I wanted it to be answered in further detail. The one I picked was it being answered with more detail and not with a simple yes or no. The question I picked was “How does the way a writer uses different writing styles in the same sentence alter the context of a question?” Like I mentioned before, I wanted a more complex question that couldn’t be answered with a simple yes or no, but something more than that.

This is the same sentence but different meanings/wirtten differently each time

I picked this question because I always seem to find myself wondering the same thing. I picked with the hope I could find the answer, and I have been waiting for an opportunity. Luckily, I now have one. I’m a big writer; I love to write, and if I wanted to, I could write a paragraph about 1 simple question; I could keep going. I have always been interested in writing styles and different content and how to change the content of a sentence simply by changing the tone with one word. Sis, why did I decide to pick this question for my inquiry project that will last the entire semester?

Thank you for reading!
